Meet the creatives shaping Detroit!
Detroit creatives can learn a lot from each other. The D Brief shares the stories of local artists and entertainers to educate and inspire others in the community. Hosts Seth Resler and Becky Scarcello interview Detroit actors, authors, brewers, chefs, comedians, curators, dancers, DJs, mixologists, musicians, storytellers, visual artists, and more.
Co-host Seth Resler is a 25-year broadcasting veteran who has worked at radio stations in New York City, Boston, Seattle, St. Louis, Providence, and Silicon Valley. He moved to Detroit in 2015 to take a job consulting radio stations on their digital strategies. He regularly speaks about podcasting at conferences around the country, including at the NAB Show, the Radio Show, the Worldwide Radio Summit, the Nielsen Audio Client Conference, Podcast Movement, Morning Show Boot Camp, Talk Show Boot Camp, and state broadcaster association conferences.
Co-host Becky Scarcello is a life-long supporter and promoter of the City of Detroit. She is currently the Business Manager and a Tour Guide with Feet on the Street Tours Detroit and serves on the Board of Trustees of Matrix Human Services. Having worked and volunteered at many Detroit companies, foundations, and non-profits focused on city vibrancy, Becky loves helping people discover the hidden gems, fascinating people, and exciting venues of Detroit.
Producer Jewell Dziendziel also hosts the Vegetarian Detroit podcast and publishes the metro Detroit food blog The Bite Tonight. Jewell studied Business & Marketing at Baker College, but her true love and passion lies with creating food and culinary experiences with friends and family.
